I’m not sure I can write a review that does justice to the service I received from Barry and his team. Barry was recommended to us by a friend, to help sell our property (which we didn’t live in), and I am so glad that we went with him. Barry consistently went way above and beyond what I would have expected an estate agent to do, from giving us really specific advice about how to get the house ready for sale with the minimum effort/cost, arranging for different professionals to complete various jobs needed (all of whom we knew could be trusted given Barry’s connections to them, and who also did a great job of getting the house sold). Barry did a brilliant job of selling the house, but what was equally (if not more) important to me was the trust I was able to have in him, and the confidence that he was not only skilled at what he does but also thoughtful and genuine with everyone he works for. He was clearly genuinely happy with finding us buyers that loved the house, which was a lovely comfort given the circumstances we were selling in (in it being our parents and childhood home). It was obvious he wasn’t motivated by just selling and making the money, but more in looking after all of the people involved in the sale, so that everyone was happy. When there were hitches lower down in the chain (nothing to do with us or Barry), Barry worked really hard to resolve these, again going beyond of what would be expected of him. I didn’t have a hugely positive view of estate agents as a whole, finding them to be often superficial, lazy and ingenuine, but cannot recommend Barry enough. He really is the opposite of these things - someone you can have your complete trust in, and someone who makes the whole process as positive as it can be. I am very grateful to him - thank you Barry 😊

Barry is an amazing estate agent ! No bullshit - no time wasting just gets the job done no matter how long it takes ! It took us over a year to move , but Barry was a constant always keeping us up to date and never giving up on selling our property! He became a friend in the end as his warm , friendly and genuine nature shone through. - a great source of advice too as we hadn’t moved for over 28 years ! He even helped us complete our solicitors documents!!! Liam was also a brilliant, calm , and genuine support during the process ! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this independent estate agent as you certainly get the personal touch with a great deal of hard work !

We bought our house through Butler Residential, and the communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Liam was always available to answer calls and provided consistent updates. When it came to the final stages of exchanging contracts and completing the sale, Liam played a key role, seamlessly bridging the gap between us and the solicitor. Should we decide to sell our house in the future we wouldn't hesitate to appoint Butler Residential.

I decided to make a monumental step in my life after losing my husband. Selling up the family home of almost 40 years was not an easy thing to do. Having met Barry Butler when I viewed a property I decided there and then that Butler Residential would be the agents for me. We decided to go with Butler Residential after first having a terrible experience with Purple Bricks. The service we received with Butler Residential is completely unmatched. The photos were stunning, showing our home in its best possible state. The viewings were conveniently grouped together, I took the kids out for the day and everything was taken care of. We were given feedback promptly, and were kept updated on any offers pending. The team did an excellent job of negotiating for us, and we sold within 1 week of listing at a price we were happy with. Knowing that we wanted the sale to go through quickly, Barry and Liam were constantly checking in with the solicitors to make sure things were moving along. The communication between everyone was excellent, we were always in the know as to what stage we were at. When we were approaching an exchange, Barry and Liam were great at pushing the solicitors to get things done. It was a very stressful last couple of weeks, but the team at Butler were empathetic and reassuring, and I had full confidence they were doing everything possible to push us over the finish line.Overall it was a fantastic experience with Butler Residential, and we are now so happy in our new home. My only regret is that we didn’t go with them first time around! I cannot thank the team enough!
