Liam was very professional and supportive throughout the sale of our flat. He communicated with us, our buyers and both sets of solicitors regularly . He was proactive in chasing and keeping the sale moving. Estate agents really earn their money with the work they have to do to ensure the sale goes through. We would recommend Butlers Residential to anyone wanting to sell in Stevenage. Liam also had a good understanding of the market.

I decided to make a monumental step in my life after losing my husband. Selling up the family home of almost 40 years was not an easy thing to do. Having met Barry Butler when I viewed a property I decided there and then that Butler Residential would be the agents for me. A great decision - such a caring, personally tailored yet professional service. Outstanding! Extremely prompt responses to any queries, great marketing and a good outcome. We decided to go with Butler Residential after first having a terrible experience with Purple Bricks. The service we received with Butler Residential is completely unmatched. The photos were stunning, showing our home in its best possible state. The viewings were conveniently grouped together, I took the kids out for the day and everything was taken care of. We were given feedback promptly, and were kept updated on any offers pending. The team did an excellent job of negotiating for us, and we sold within 1 week of listing at a price we were happy with. Knowing that we wanted the sale to go through quickly, Barry and Liam were constantly checking in with the solicitors to make sure things were moving along. The communication between everyone was excellent, we were always in the know as to what stage we were at. When we were approaching an exchange, Barry and Liam were great at pushing the solicitors to get things done. It was a very stressful last couple of weeks, but the team at Butler were empathetic and reassuring, and I had full confidence they were doing everything possible to push us over the finish line.Overall it was a fantastic experience with Butler Residential, and we are now so happy in our new home. My only regret is that we didn’t go with them first time around! I cannot thank the team enough!

Well where do I begin with Butler Residential…without hesitation 100% I would recommend this company. Communication, professionalism,attention to detail, patience, going above & beyond what I feel an estate agent should do, you feel safe under their umbrella, they have a wealth of knowledge, they are calm & provide a high level of support when needed. If a house sale is particularly challenging they will not be phased with their eye firmly fixed on the end goal of selling your property but also bearing in mind that there are human beings involved & you are not just another number on their books. Both Barry & Liam are a credit to themselves & can be proud of the effective team they make.
