What do toilet rolls and properties have in common?

They are flying off the shelves!

Ok, so the demand for toilet roll was hopefully a moment of madness last year (for some). This year our attention is all on property and it isn't sticking around for long.

Newly listed properties are flying off the shelves.

The majority of agents (78%) in the latest Dataloft subscriber poll, said that homes, once listed, are selling in less than 28 days.

22% of agents state the majority of homes are selling in less than a week, Zoopla reporting the number of homes selling within the first week of marketing is currently at its highest ever level.

At 45 days, the average time taken to sell a property across the UK in April is a record low according to Rightmove and is quicker than the April average of 62 days from 2015–2019.

Properties are currently selling quickest across Yorkshire and the Humber and in the North West, areas where property price growth is currently exceeding the national average.

Homes in London are taking the longest, an average of 57 days.

There couldn't be a better time to sell with the demand for property being so high and selling times, from listing to being under offer, beating records.
