Our Winter Coat collection is back!

Help someone less fortunate stay warm this winter by donating a coat.

After a really successful amount of donations in 2020, our Winter coat collection is back.

Last year we collected 139 coats over the three weeks, so are hoping to beat that total in 2021.

Replacing Your Winter Coat?

The winter weather is setting in, putting homeless people at risk in the colder conditions.

Thousands of people are still sleeping rough despite widespread efforts to find homeless people safe accommodation.

Donating a coat this time of year could save someone’s life.

If it is in good condition it could help a vulnerable person stay protected and warm this winter.

Where and When?

We will be collecting coats at our office on behalf of The 3 Pillars, a charity based in Eaton Socon, who support the homeless and most vulnerable in St Neots, Huntingdon, and Peterborough.

From the 29th of November until the 20th of December you can pop down to our office with your coat donations and we will make sure they get delivered weekly to the amazing team at The 3 Pillars, to distribute to those in need.

All we ask is for coats to be placed in a clean bag. If we are out on appointments, a waterproof donation box will be left outside of our office window. Please do pop in to the office when possible so we can thank you in person for your kindness.

Is it Safe to Donate a Coat?

Of Course, to keep the risk of spreading covid-19 to a minimum, all we ask is that no one donates any coats if anyone in your household has symptoms, or has tested positive for the virus.

Winter coats are not cheap and with thousands of people struggling to get by on lower incomes, it might not be an option to replace last year’s coat.

You can still help by raising awareness and letting friends and family know.
