Today we are sharing some resolution ideas.

99.9 per cent of us are so happy to see the back of 2020. There is no doubt that last year may have brought a little happiness with new life, new homes and certainly new friendships with strangers. We all came together as a nation and discovered a kindness amongst our communities and for that, we are grateful.

What better time to draw a line under that ‘unprecedented’ year and welcome 2021 with open arms and new hope.

Below are 10 of the most common resolutions people have made over the past five years, according to polling website You.Gov.

  1. Exercise more.
  2. Eat more healthily.
  3. Lose weight.
  4. Budget finances better.
  5. Learn something new.
  6. Spend more time with friends and family. (Fingers crossed that can happen more this year)
  7. Get more sleep.
  8. Reduce stress.
  9. Travel more (here’s hoping)
  10. Focus on spiritual growth.

Here are five of the most common resolutions we hear home seekers make.

  1. A home with a room or space enabling working from home. (A new one for 2021)
  2.  A home with more inside space.
  3. A home nearer loved ones and/or good schools.
  4. A home with a bigger garden or easy access to open space.
  5. A home with friendly neighbours.

If you are currently selling your home, a resolution we could suggest would be:

At the heart of people’s resolutions is always a sense of hope and hope is something we will all be holding onto as we enter 2021.

We would like to thank all our clients, key workers and our community for your support this year.

Here’s to happier times ahead.
