Five things we can’t wait to do in St Neots when lockdown ends

With the end to lockdown now in sight, it’s impossible not to think excitedly ahead to the spring and summer months.

We know we won’t be able to do everything all at once, but we can live with that.

There are so many simple things that we’ve missed over the past few months that will make getting out and about in the local area (without too many restrictions) feel like a mini-adventure.

Mostly we are looking forward to spending time with family and friends.

Here’s a list of five things we can’t wait to do after lockdown.

Eat Out in Our Favourite Restaurant 

It doesn’t have to be a fancy or expensive meal, a quiet outing to a casual eatery with a couple of friends will do us nicely. Our favourite place to dine locally is Bohemia so expect to see us enjoying a bite to eat and a tipple there when restrictions allow.
 
Get a Proper Haircut

Lockdown has taught us that there is no substitute for a decent haircut. Letting your partner loose on your barnet after they’ve watched a YouTube tutorial, just doesn’t cut it. The finished result never looks quite right (although I think I did a good job, sorry Barry)
 
Watch a Live Performance

Here at Butler Residential going to gigs is our favourite thing to do. We were lucky enough to squeeze one in days before the first Lockdown and have really missed going to them. A gig, stand-up routine, or a stage production after endless months of staring at screens, will feel luxury and we can’t wait to be entertained by real people.
 
Picnic In the Park

We can’t wait to greet friends and family with hugs (no more awkward elbow bumps, please) in Riverside Park and enjoy a lazy, laid-back picnic (hopefully with no wind) Our boys love to feed the ducks, look at the passing canal boats and when the miniature railway is running, I’m sure they will have two very excited little passengers on board.
 
Watch Some Live Sport

Grassroots sporting clubs have had a tough year. We are really proud to be Buckden Junior F.Cs official club sponsor. We will be doing our bit to support them, so stay tuned for lots of exciting projects over the next coming months. We look forward to watching all the teams back in action very soon.
